Director of Growth Marketing (Paid Social)

Victoria, BC, Canada
Full Time
Senior Manager/Supervisor

Seeking a lead generation expert who is ready to architect the future of Paid Social.  This isn’t a traditional media buyer role; we’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing for Paid Social to build a high-octane marketing engine. You’ll own a large annual budget, lead a talented team, and design the creative and audience strategies that will redefine lead generation in 2026. If you treat ad spend like your own capital and see AI as your greatest multiplier, let’s talk.

You’ll lead our Paid Social Advertising programs with a focus on customer acquisition and high-quality B2C lead generation for home services (e.g., home remodeling, roofing, window replacement).

You’ll set the vision and direction for your team - mentoring and coaching to create a culture of continuous improvement; challenging the status quo, testing new ideas, learning from results, leading the integration of AI tools into our workflows, and iterating to drive meaningful improvements.

You aren't just managing campaigns; you are building an AI-enabled marketing engine that drives high-quality lead generation for our home services business.

This role will be at the epicenter of substantial growth in our home services business, driving the critical audience acquisition strategies to fulfill the ever-increasing demand from our clients.

What you will do

Own & Evolve the Performance Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of our paid social media strategy - managing a 25M+ dollar budget across social and native advertising.

  • Champion a test-and-learn culture, designing experiments, measuring results, and operationalizing wins across channels and markets with a high degree of urgency.

  • Serve as our Paid Social marketing industry leader and expert

Drive Channel Performance

  • Regularly dive into the data yourself: spotting anomalies, identifying insights, and turning them into actionable improvements with your team.

  • Continuously optimize spend, targeting, creative, and bidding strategies to hit CPL, quality, and lead volume goals.

  • Lead the team in leveraging AI tools to develop and test new creative assets, including static image ads and video ads.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Creative to align goals and improve KPIs.

Scale, Lead, & Mentor the Team

  • Coach and develop a high-performing team, with clear growth paths, regular feedback, and ongoing skills development.

  • Scale the function in 2026, including defining roles, hiring, and leveling capabilities as spend and business needs grow.

AI Integration & Tooling

  • Audit and implement AI-driven tools (e.g., Midjourney, Canva Magic Studio, Jasper, or specialized ad-tech) to accelerate the production of high-performing static and video assets.

  • Stay at the forefront of "Alpha" and "Beta" AI features within Meta, TikTok, and YouTube (Advantage+, Predictive Audiences, etc.).

Robust Reporting

  • Deliver clear insights and performance updates to senior leadership with recommendations and next steps: deep analysis, attribution learning, and forecasting

  • Ensure daily and weekly performance reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable

Who You Are

  • Performance Marketing Expert: 10+ years in performance marketing with a focus on paid social.

  • Lead Generation Expert: Experience in high-volume; high-intent B2C lead generation is a must. Experience in Home Services is a strong plus.

  • Platform Power User: Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads as well as other paid social platforms.

  • Analytical Mindset: You treat every ad dollar like your own and use data to drive your "test-and-learn" roadmap.

  • AI Practitioner: You don’t just talk about AI; you use it. You are AI-native—not just “AI-aware.” You design, own, and evolve agentic workflows that dramatically expand your leverage.

  • Education: BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or a technical field (Computer Science or Data Analytics background is a huge plus).

Compensation: $130,000 - 165,000 CAD + a bonus plan

Compensation will be determined by factors including knowledge and applicable skills, role-specific qualifications, market location, and experience.
